For reinsurers

Check every cession against your treaty, the day it arrives.

Your carriers' cession reports go in as they arrive. Every row is recomputed from your confirmed terms, and every difference is flagged with the clause behind it.

The quarter today

  1. Reports in every layout. Each carrier sends its cession bordereau in its own format, language and units.
  2. Checked by sampling. Few rows are recomputed against the treaty, so a wrong share or a commission an addendum removed surfaces late.
  3. Recoveries matched by hand. A paid loss with no recovery on the report waits until someone notices it.

With Cork, every row is recomputed from your terms the day the report arrives, and every difference names its clause.

The check

Every row recomputed from your terms.

1 · Terms you verify once

Every term traced to its clause

Upload your treaty documents: wording, slip and addenda. Every term of your share is pulled out and linked to the clause it came from.

Agree with the terms, or flag the one you disagree with and say why. If the carrier fixes it, your past figures are updated too.

2 · Reports in any layout

Read the carrier's file as it comes

Column headings in six languages, units such as TEUR or £000, debit and credit columns, and a figure at 100% beside your share. A saved mapping reads next quarter's file the same way.

A printed total is a control figure: Cork checks it against the rows it covers.

3 · Exposure and capacity

Know the limit you still stand behind.

Your net backing by peril, your approved capacity beside your outstanding liability, and each carrier's account. Cork warns you when your liability goes beyond your capacity.

4 · Business in the right place

Catch anything ceded to you that doesn't belong on your treaty

Every row is checked against the contract it was ceded to: the period it attaches to, the perils and territories in scope, the cession limit, the loss limit and the aggregate cap.

Anything outside those terms is flagged with the clause it breaks, so it never lands on your line unnoticed.
